I have been comissioned to write several songs for educational software, and I have created singalong mixes of existing songs to help children learn the words.

For these projects, I receive a set of lyrics and a stylistic brief for each song. I write an appropriate melody, record a backing track and finally match the rhythm of the melody instrument exactly to each verse. Some of the songs are then animated…
